City of Ballarat Social Activities
Ageing Well classes will recommence in 2025 from 10 February.
All classes are $5 per person, excluding the group exercise at Mount Pleasant Reserve which is at no cost. Come and try a new activity and soak up the benefits of social connection and exercise.
During 2024 we held a range of classes including:
- Dance for Mobility and Balance
- Tai Chi
- Qigong
- Pilates
- Movement Matters
- Group exercise (outdoor)
Classes and venues for 2025 will be shared by late January.
Upcoming Ageing Well Events
The City of Ballarat Ageing Well team are excited to host a number of upcoming events for our 55+ community.
Ageing with Pride Social Group
Presented by the Ageing Well Services Community Connector Team.
Come and join our Community Connectors as we celebrate our older LGBTI+ community and allies. This group provides a welcome space to meet new friends and have a chat about all things ageing with pride. Light morning tea provided.
When: 1st Friday of the month (excluding January)
Where: CoLab Space, upstairs in the Ballarat Library Doveton Street, Ballarat.

Maria at Showbiz Cinemas | Film and Cuppa Package
City of Ballarat and Showbiz Cinemas would like to invite you to the screening of Maria!
Film and Cuppa Package includes a ticket to the film and a cup of tea or coffee.
