By 2041, our population is predicted to increase by 55,000 people. To support this growth the city needs to proactively plan to facilitate sustainable housing, infrastructure, development and investment while also preserving the city's valued cultural and environmental heritage.
The Strategic and Heritage Planning team work together to respond to these challenges and set the long-term vision for land use in the Ballarat municipality.
