Ballarat Ageing Well Expo 2025

The Ageing Well Expo will provide opportunities to explore options, support and services available locally to help us make informed choices as we age. 

We would love to see people 55 years and over, carers or interested family members and friends. You can just drop in or stay for a while!  

When: Wednesday 26 March 10am to 2pm
Where: Mercure Ballarat - Hotel and Convention Centre
Accessibility: Accessible venue and staff assistance available
Bookings: This is a free event – no bookings required

• Over 50 information stalls
  Including information from: Local health, home care and social services, advocacy & support groups, government services, a focus on health and wellbeing plus aids and equipment options.
• Guest speakers
• Department of Health and Aged Care
• Housing for the Aged Action Group
• Ballarat & Grampians Community Legal Service
• Giveaways and prizes

To celebrate Ballarat Ageing Well Expo, the Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre is offering a FREE 7 Day Gold Membership to come and experience everything the centre has to offer. You can try the aquatic facilities, steam room, health club and over 80 group fitness classes!

1. You must be a new member aged 60 years or over
2. Visit the Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre stall at the Expo

 
By car:  

• Free parking: Onsite at Mercure Ballarat
• Drop off and pick up zones: Located onsite at the entrance
• Courtesy golf cart shuttle service: Will be operating throughout the free onsite parking
• Limited reserved disability parking: Close to the Entrance
• On street parking: Available on Main Road and surrounds

By public transport:

• PTV Bus Route 21 - Which starts at Ballarat Station and ends in Buninyong
• Closest stop is: Burdeu St/Main Road, is is an 89 metre walk to the Mercure
• Note: Buses run every 30 minutes
