Outdoor Pools and Splash Parks

Midland Water Park

The Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre and Ballarat has a range of outdoor pools and water play facilities to utilise during the warmer months that are owned and operated by the City of Ballarat.

Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre Memberships and Visit Passes can be used at all outdoor pools during the summer season.

Eureka Aquatic Centre

Eureka Aquatic Centre features a range of facilities including heated 50m pool, learn to swim pool, shaded toddlers pool, outdoor water play park, playground, kiosk and BBQ facilities.

Eureka will open on Saturday 2 November 2024

Black Hill Swimming Pool

Black Hill Swimming Pool features a solar heated 25m outdoor pool, toddlers pool, and BBQ and picnic facilities.

Black Hill will open on Saturday 30 November 2024. 
The pool will be closed on days forecast to be 23 degrees or below.

Buninyong Aquatic Centre

Buninyong Aquatic Centre features a solar heated 25m outdoor pool, shaded toddlers pool, BBQ and picnic facilities.

Buninyong Outdoor Pool will open on Saturday 30 November 2024.

Midlands Reserve and Water Park

The Midlands Reserve and Water Park in Ballarat North is a fantastic play space for children. A bright and colourful water splash park stands alongside a well equipped playground within a large grassy area. Facilities include BBQ, shaded area and public toilets.

The Midlands Water Park will open on 1 November 2024

Sebastopol Water Play Park

The Sebastopol Water Play Park is designed for all age groups the facility features an exciting variety of spray features, including tipping buckets, towering spray features, soaking run-through water tunnel and a four way water cannon fight.

The splash pad also has a safe, quieter play zone for smaller children to explore aquatic play safety away from the bigger splashes and faster moving fun. Other park features include BBQs, a shaded area, public toilets and a playground.

The Sebastopol Water Park will open on 1 November 2024
