Art Gallery of Ballarat
Lost in Palm Springs
This exhibition brings together 14 creative minds who respond to, capture, or reimagine the magical qualities of the landscape and the celebrated mid-century modern architecture found in the desert city. The exhibition will run until 1 September.

Pop-Up Ice Rink celebrates 10 years
The Pop-Up Ice Rink forms part of the annual Ballarat Winter Festival - a celebration of the city's signature season through events, activities and unique offerings.
Whether you’re known for gliding across the ice with the grace of a figure skater or clinging to the side barriers for dear life, Ballarat’s Pop-Up Ice Rink holds many fond memories for local Ballarat residents and visitors alike.
The Pop-Up Ice Rink, which has delighted people of all ages over the years, will celebrate its 10th anniversary at Ballarat’s popular Winter Festival this year.
Having evolved its offering over the years to include child-friendly and sensory-friendly sessions, along with themed sessions such as disco or Bollywood, the Pop-Up Ice Rink continues to attract hundreds of keen ice-skaters each year.
