Miners Rest Mechanics Institute Community Hall

Located 12km north-west of Ballarat, the Miners Rest Mechanics Institute Community Hall boasts modern and historical features some of which are over 100 years old.

Overview

On the country of the Burrumbeet Bulag koori community, the Miners Rest Mechanics Institute Community Hall is used regularly by the local community groups for activities and meetings as well as private functions such as weddings, parties, fundraisers and markets.

The Hall includes a large main hall area with a stage and audio visual capabilities as well as a separate meeting room for smaller gatherings. All areas include heating and cooling functionality.

Tables with tablecloths and chairs are provided for 100 people as well as a functional kitchen with fridge, microwave, urn, domestic stove, pie warmer, an industrial dishwasher, crockery and cutlery.

Fully accessible male and female toilets are available.
