ROAD CLOSURE – 2021 Remembrance Day Commemorative Service
For the safety of participants and all road users, the following traffic alterations will be in place;
- Sturt Street will be closed from Dawson Street to Raglan Street in both directions to all traffic from approximately 8am to 1pm on Thursday 11 November 2021 for the Remembrance Day Commemorative Service at the Ballarat Cenotaph.
- West bound traffic on Sturt Street will be diverted at Dawson Street and East bound traffic on Sturt Street will be diverted at Raglan Street.
- Lyons Street South will be closed at Dana Street to Sturt Street with access for local traffic only.
Lyons Street North will be closed at Mair Street to Sturt Street with access to local traffic only.
Traffic detours will be in place along Dana Street and Mair Street.
Road users are requested to approach the area with caution and follow the direction of marshals and police.
Pedestrian access to shops and services will be maintained.
ANNUAL REPORT 2020/21 AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC INSPECTION
In accordance with the requirements of the Local Government Act 1989 the City of Ballarat’s Annual Report for the 2020/21 financial year has been prepared and will be available for public inspection at the City of Ballarat’s Customer Service desk, The Phoenix, 25 Armstrong Street South, or online at ballarat.vic.gov.au from Thursday 26 November.
The Annual Report 2020/21 will be considered and discussed at the Ordinary Council Meeting on Wednesday 16 December. The meeting will be broadcast live on the City of Ballarat website.
