Located 12km north-west of Ballarat, the Miners Rest Mechanics Institute Community Hall boasts modern and historical features some of which are over 100 years old.

With dappled sunlight shining through the trees in the Barkly Square courtyard, it’s no wonder Lou Ridsdale describes the space as “magical”. 

Built to commemorate World War I soldiers and replaced by the current hall in 1968.

The Burrumbeet Soldiers Memorial Hall was built in 1935, and features the main hall and additional meeting room with adjoining kitchen. This hall is  used regularly by the local community for meetings and events.

Apart from being a state legislated, pet registration helps us reunite you with your pet if they are picked up or get out unexpectedly and assists with data collection and how to increase responsible pet ownership throughout our community. All pets must be microchipped to be registered. If your pet is not microchipped- please get in contact with your local vet.
