Unscheduled Council Meeting recap

On Wednesday 12 October 2022, at an unscheduled Ballarat City Council Meeting, Councillors considered the Annual Financial Report and Performance Statement of the City of Ballarat.   

The City of Ballarat’s officer recommendation was to approve the 2021/22 Financial Report and Performance Statement in principle. Councillors voted unanimously in support of the recommendation. 

Councillors authorised the Chief Executive Officer to implement any changes to the Report and Statement as recommended by the Auditor-General.  

The City of Ballarat Mayor, Cr Daniel Moloney and Deputy Mayor Cr Amy Johnson will certify the 2021/22 Financial Report and Performance Statement on behalf of Council, once any amendments or changes requested by the Victorian Auditor General have been made.
