Summer Sundays free concert series begins Sunday
Ballarat’s favourite free live-music event Summer Sundays will commence this Sunday 4-8pm in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
After the hiatus of live music due to restrictions of the global pandemic, the community will no doubt embrace the opportunity to enjoy live music in one of Ballarat’s most picturesque settings.
“Summer Sundays is a fabulous fun and free afternoon and the line-up this year is exceptional” said City of Ballarat Councillor, Samantha McIntosh.
“The bill is the perfect mix of household names, emerging talent and local artists” she added.
Summer Sundays this weekend will see Harry James Angus from The Cat Empire perform along with Melbourne’s Ausecuma Beats - a nine-strong ensemble, Bumpy a proud Noongar woman from regional Victoria and Ballarat group The Vinleys.
In addition to the free live music, a selection of Ballarat’s best food and beverage vendors will be onsite each week, alongside the pop-up Garden Bar highlighting some of our region’s best wine, spirit, and beer producers.
The Bean Bag Lounge is returning, so bring your family and friends and soak up the sounds of Summer Sundays.
Summer Sundays is a free concert series occurring on the 9, 16, 23 and 30 January from 4-8pm at the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
