Spilt Milk returning to Ballarat in December
The City of Ballarat is thrilled to welcome back Spilt Milk music festival once again in 2023.
The one-day music festival will be held in Victoria Park for the third time on Saturday 2 December, once again transforming the area into a music lover’s paradise.
More than 32,000 people attended the 2022 edition of the event.
Now, with even bigger international acts added to the line-up for 2023, there is expected to be an even greater demand for tickets for the event.
In 2022 the event contributed an estimated $5 million to the Ballarat economy, more than triple the average Saturday expenditure in the city.
City of Ballarat Mayor, Cr Des Hudson said he was excited to see the event locked in for another year.
“Spilt Milk absolutely transformed Ballarat last year, I think everybody will remember how busy the city was for that particular weekend,” he said.
“Being able to attract events that draw in tens of thousands of people shows we are a destination city and it’s fantastic to see the confidence these major events have to keep coming back to Ballarat.
“Spilt Milk thrived in the face of enormous difficulty in terms of the pandemic and record rainfall leading up to the event last year and I’m confident the 2023 edition will be even better.”
The City of Ballarat will communicate more information about the event in the coming months.
