The City of Ballarat is thrilled to welcome back the Red Hot Summer Tour to the North Gardens Saturday 4 March 2023.
Thanks to Regional Touring Pty Ltd, The Red Hot Summer Tour brings a phenomenal line-up together with some of the most iconic names in Australian music.
The tour features Paul Kelly, Bernard Fanning, Missy Higgins, Mark Seymour, Vika & Linda and Ian Moss & Troy Cassar-Daley.
In 2022, the Red Hot Summer Tour saw 12,000 visitors and locals flock to Ballarat’s North Gardens for the show with an estimated economic impact calculated at $1.9 million.
More than half of the visitors to Ballarat over the 2022 Red Hot Summer tour weekend travelled from greater Melbourne and over 20 per cent travelled from interstate.
Red Hot Summer Tour will provide a strong start to a bumper event calendar in Autumn featuring the Ballarat Begonia Festival, Gold Rush Corvette Nationals, Ballarat Senior Basketball Tournament, and Ballarat Heritage Festival.
The City of Ballarat Mayor, Cr Daniel Moloney, said the Red Hot Summer Tour is a highlight of the Ballarat events calendar.
“Every year the tour brings amazing artists and performers to our city and gives locals and visitors alike a real show to remember.
“This year we can expect these Aussie legends to really play the house down and our local businesses to really benefit from the increased visitation over the weekend.
“It’s through facilitating events like the Red Hot Summer Tour that City of Ballarat is able to ensure our local economy thrives and our residents and visitors get to experience the best of Ballarat.”
