3BA CHRISTMAS APPEAL
Sadly, Christmas for many families in Ballarat is not full of joy and happiness. If you can, please help put a little hope in someone’s life. The annual 3BA Christmas Appeal is local with every donation remaining right here in the Ballarat area to support local families in need.
The appeal supports, Uniting Ballarat, the Salvation Army, Anglicare Ballarat and the St Vincent de Paul Society.
Cash donations and the flexibility they provide are the number one priority and of the greatest assistance to the welfare agencies and charities.
Donations of food items and toys are also very beneficial; however, they are unable to receive items at their office. The drop off point for food and toy donations is the Salvation Army corner Eureka Street and Main Road, weekdays, during business hours. All food donations will be equally shared by the 4 agencies listed above.
You can purchase or leave toys at Santa’s Christmas Tree at Toyworld or give where you see collection tins.

ANIMAL SHELTER CHRISTMAS APPEAL
Can you spare some treats and toys for those animals that do not have a home to go to this Christmas? If you can, the City of Ballarat Animal Shelter would welcome your donations of:
Dogs - Pig's ears, dentastix, dehydrated chicken jerky, lickimat's, peanut butter, sniffle mats, apples & carrots.
Cats & kittens - Laser pointers, toys with feathers, da bird, greenies, Kong's, dehydrated chicken jerky, ping pong balls, crinkle balls, wet food.
These can be dropped off Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm if you would like to say hi to our wonderful human friends at the Ballarat Animal Shelter, 5a Gillingham Place- Alfredton.
