NOTICE OF MEETING – Unscheduled Council Meeting
Notice is hereby given that a City of Ballarat Council Meeting will be held at 6.30pm on 21 July 2021 to be held at the Town Hall, Sturt Street, Ballarat to hear submissions on the following:
- Council Plan;
- Community Vision; and
- Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
Registrations for public representations for items on the agenda must be received by the Governance Unit by 4:30pm on the day of the meeting and can be made by calling 5320 5875.
The agenda will be available from www.ballarat.vic.gov.au the week prior to the meeting. Confirmed Minutes will be available after the subsequent Council meeting.
ROAD CLOSURE NOTIFICATION
Continuation of Road Closure - Armstrong Street South
Armstrong Street South from Sturt Street to the rear of the Town Hall will continue to remain closed after the Ballarat Winter Festival ice-rink is dismantled. The temporary road closure will continue from 9pm on Saturday 24 July until 5pm on Monday 20 September 2021 to cater for the 1000 Doors installation.
Access to Bath Lane and the car park at the rear of the Town Hall will be maintained, coming from the Dana Street direction. Access to the Myer loading dock will be unimpeded, as delivery vehicles will be able to access the loading dock via Dana Street (not Sturt Street). The Ballarat Information Centre long vehicle / caravan parking at rear (south) of the Town Hall will be temporarily relocated to the front of the Town Hall in Sturt Street. The Taxi Rank outside Myer will be temporarily relocated to two angled ¼ hour car parks out the front of the Central Square Post Office, Phoenix Mall, Armstrong Street South.

Café at Art Gallery of Ballarat
We are seeking a cafe operator with style, flair and business acumen who can make the most of a unique opportunity to create a high-quality café experience at one of Australia’s most significant public galleries, the Art Gallery of Ballarat.
In addition to the café, an extensive commercial kitchen at the Camp Street side of the building can be used to support the delivery of catered social events at the Gallery.

WINTER FESTIVAL ENDS 18 JULY
