YOUTH VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS ARE CLOSING SOON

Ballarat Youth Services are recruiting young people aged 12-25 to join volunteer programs for 2022 including:

  • T.E.A.M.
  • Youth Ambassadors (formerly Youth Council)
  • SONIKA

If you are looking to create new connections, a sense of belonging, and for exciting leadership opportunities as a youth advocate and voice to Council – they’ve got you covered!

COMMUNITY IMPACT GRANT PROGRAM 2021/2022 – ROUND 3

Applications are being accepted to the third round of the City of Ballarat’s Community Impact Grant Program.

Who can apply?

Local, not-for-profit incorporated organisations are eligible to apply for Community Impact Grants. Non-incorporated groups may also apply if they have an auspice relationship with an incorporated group.

STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP GRANT PROGRAM 2021/2022 – ROUND 2

Applications are being accepted to the second round of the City of Ballarat’s Strategic Partnership Grants.

The program provides funding to support organisations or businesses to run projects that meet strategic objectives in the Council Plan, Health and Wellbeing Plan and other plans and strategies endorsed by Council.

Who can apply?

These partnerships will be awarded to well-established organisations that have a proven record of delivering relevant programs, projects, or activities.

TOURISM EVENT GRANT PROGRAM

The Tourism Events Grant Program (TEGP) addresses key priorities of the Ballarat Events Strategy 2018–2028 to support and attract events which:

  • increase tourism visitation; 
  • support Ballarat’s liveability and build community pride; 
  • contribute to building the city’s perception, improving Ballarat’s competitive strengths and unique qualities.  

Who can apply?

For profit organisations and businesses with a commitment to work collaboratively where possible with other groups and businesses. 

Applicants may apply for funding amounts between $500 and $20,000 (GST exclusive).

For requests under $5,000, applicants can complete the Small Grant Application Form which has fewer details. 

When can I apply?

The Tourism Events Grant Program will be open year-round and assessed monthly. The program will remain open until all funds are distributed.

CITY OF BALLARAT GRANTS INFORMATION AND Q & A SESSIONS:

Four information and Q & A sessions will be held during February – please see the following dates and times:

  • Thursday, 10 February 2022 from 10.00-10.45pm
  • Monday, 14 February 2022 from 12.30 – 1.15pm
  • Thursday, 17 February 2022 from 3.00 – 3.345pm
  • Monday, 21 February 2022 from 6.00 – 6.45pm

These sessions will be held online via Microsoft Teams. Anyone interested in attending can email Sandra Kennedy, City of Ballarat Community Development Support Officer (E: sandrakennedy@ballarat.vic.gov.au), who will then be able to provide you with the link to the meeting.
