WHITE NIGHT BALLARAT
White Night will transform the streets and venues of Ballarat on the evening of the 1 June 2024 through illuminations, projections, music, and interactive works.
Commencing at 6pm and concluding at 12am the following morning, the event is free to attend with no registration required – just show up and have fun.
White Night Ballarat is an alcohol-free event, however many of the local restaurants and bars will be open for business.

ROAD DISCONTINUANCE
Section 206, 207B and Schedule 10 Clause 3 Local Government Act 1989.
The City of Ballarat declares that by this notice it is considering a proposal to discontinue a portion of the unused government road located adjacent to the Buninyong General Cemetery, as shown in the hatched area on the plan below (Proposal).
Under the Proposal, the discontinued land would be reserved for cemetery purposes and managed by the Buninyong General Cemetery Trust. The additional land would provide the Buninyong General Cemetery Trust with the viability for expected future expansion and growth.
Any person has a right to make a submission to the City of Ballarat on the Proposal in accordance with the Community Engagement Policy.
Written submissions to the City of Ballarat must be received by 5pm on Friday 28 June 2024 and should by email to info@ballarat.vic.gov.au, addressed to the Property Department, City of Ballarat and clearly marked ‘Submission – Proposed Road Discontinuance: Buninyong General Cemetery.
Alternatively, submissions can be posted to the Property Department, City of Ballarat, PO Box 655, Ballarat VIC 3350.
Submissions form part of the public record of the meeting (including any personal information you provide) and may be appended to any future Council Agenda, which are then published on the City of Ballarat’s website.
