Mount Pleasant traffic advice for Ballarat Sewer Build
Central Highlands Water is preparing for Ballarat Sewer Build's next section which will be constructed along Humffray Street South.
Central Highlands Water is installing a temporary road on the corner of Humffray Street South and Barkly Street to maintain traffic flow while they continue construction. You can still travel through the area, access parking and easily visit gyms, venues and other businesses.

Djila-tjarriu Community Hub Open Day
The newest Community Hub in Alfredton will be open for all on Saturday 4 May, 10am – 1pm with plenty on offer for all the community.
There will be kindergarten information sessions and tours, playgroup activities, Murrup Art sessions, Tai Chi, Chinese and Indian dancers, giant games, Little Sprouts activities, Qi Gong and an information stand from the Ballarat Multicultural Centre.
Djila-tjarriu Community Hub is located at 18 Donegal Drive, Alfredton.
Ageing Well Team - Mini Expo Day at Learmonth
Come and join our community connections team for a light lunch as we explore activities and supports available for over 55's. Entertainment and activities including dance, bowling and more. Come along for the free event to meet the team and join in the fun!
The expo will be held on Thursday 2 May, 11am to 2pm at the Learmonth Bowling Club, 2 McKay Street, Learmonth.
Ballarat Heritage Festival 2024
Ballarat Heritage Festival returns from 17 May and runs until 26 May 2024. There is an extensive program for this year including Parrwang Lifts the Sky Victorian Opera, Craft Lab 24, Monuments, Steam Train Rides, Vintage Car Show and more.

As well as the Ballarat Central Library, Sebastopol Library and Wendouree Library, there are also Library outreach sessions weekly:
- Lucas Community Hub, Coltman Plaza, Tuesdays 10am – 12pm
- Buninyong Community House, 407 Warrenheip Street, Thursdays 2-5pm
- Salvation Army, Corner Greenhalghs Road and Warrina Drive, Fridays 10am – 12pm.
