Captain Hook - Unlike the character, I'm actually very sweet and loving!

I can be a bit of a quiet, shy boy who takes a little while to warm up to you but when I do I like having gentle cuddles. I enjoy playing with my toys, sitting in boxes and I like to share with other cats.

DRAFT HOUSING STRATEGY

By 2041, the Ballarat municipality will have grown by up to 55,000 people and will need 29,000 more dwellings. The Draft Housing Strategy for 2023 – 2041 outlines how Ballarat will cater for this growth.

The Strategy and supporting documents are now available for review by the community. Hard copies are available at Customer Service and the City of Ballarat Libraries for review.

Consultation will open on 4 September 2023 and run through to 6 October 2023, there will be in person drop-in sessions as well as online surveys.

SENIORS OF THE YEAR NOMINATIONS

The City of Ballarat is calling on all residents to thank an inspirational older person by nominating them for the 2023 Ballarat Senior of the Year Awards.

Nomination forms and further information can be downloaded from the MySay page on the City of Ballarat website, can be picked up at Customer Service or your local library or by calling 5320 5670 and requesting a copy be sent by mail.

The closing date for nominations is Sunday 17 September 2023
