PUBLIC HOLIDAY 27 SEPTEMBER
City of Ballarat offices and all libraries will be closed on Friday 27 September.
There will be no changes to bin collection.
The Visitor Information Centre at the Town Hall will be open from 10am – 4pm. Ballarat Aquatic and Lifestyle Centre will be open from 8am – 4pm.

NOTICE OF ROADWORKS FOR LEARMONTH STREET
Traffic flow and safety improvements are being made to the Learmonth Street and Cuthberts Road intersection and Learmonth Street and Sturt Street intersection.
Works are now underway with speed and lane diversions in place in both directions between Sturt and Cuthbert Streets.
A full road closure for Learmonth Street will take place from mid to late September for asphalting works, weather permitting. Motorists, particularly heavy vehicles, are encouraged to seek alternate routes where possible. The works are expected to be completed in November.
This project is being funded by the State Government and delivered by the City of Ballarat.

NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE
Mount Buninyong Road, from Blackberry Lane through to the top of Mount Buninyong, will be closed on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 September and from Monday 23 to Wednesday 25 September for road-side mowing maintenance, as part of the City of Ballarat's general maintenance and fire prevention programs.
Mount Buninyong Road will be open and accessible on the weekend of Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September. The works will be weather dependent.
DRAINAGE WORKS
New drainage infrastructure will be installed on the west side of Cornish Street, Buninyong. The works are part of the City of Ballarat's annual program of drainage infrastructure works and will minimise flooding risk to the Buninyong Primary School.
The works are scheduled to take place in the school holidays, from 23 September to 4 October. Traffic and pedestrian management will be in place for the works.
