SUMMER SUNDAYS - FREE LIVE MUSIC IN THE BOTANICAL GARDENS
Summer Sundays is a FREE live music concert series proudly presented by the City of Ballarat.
The concert series runs on Jan 8, 15, 22, 29 from 4 to 8pm in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
2023 features an exceptional line-up of local, emerging, and big-name musical talent.
In addition to the live music, a selection of Ballarat’s best food and beverage vendors will be onsite to choose from.
The Garden Bar showcases some of our region’s best wine, spirit, and beer producers.

PICNIC IN THE PARK – THURSDAY 26 JANUARY 11.30 AM – 3.30 PM VICTORIA PARK (ADJACENT TO INCLUSIVE PLAY SPACE)
Picnic in the Park, the latest addition to the City of Ballarat summer event calendar, is set to return to Victoria Park on Thursday 26 January 2023.
Gather your family and friends for a relaxed afternoon with great food, market stalls, kids’ activities, and entertainment.
Bring a picnic or enjoy delicious food and drink offerings from a variety of local food trucks.
Picnic in the Park will be held at Victoria Park on 26 January, from 11:30am to 3:30pm.
SURVIVAL DAY - DAWN SERVICE THURSDAY 26 JANUARY 2023
The Survival Day Dawn Service will be held at 5.30am to 6.30am on Thursday 26 January at View Point, Lake Wendouree Ballarat (opposite the Lake View Hotel).
Survival Day is a day where all Australians can come together to learn about and respect our nation’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people’s history.

PAYING YOUR RATES IN ONE LUMP SUM?
Ratepayers are reminded if they elected to pay their rates in one lump sum, payment is required by 15th February 2023.
If ratepayers are unable to pay by this date or are experiencing financial difficulty and wish to discuss the possibility of arranging a suitable payment plan, please call the City of Ballarat’s Customer Service on 5320 5500.
