16 DAYS OF ACTIVISM AGAINST GENDER-BASED VIOLENCE
The City of Ballarat will recognise the annual 16 Days of Activism Campaign Against Gender Based Violence with a panel event on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women- Friday November 25.
The event will be held at the Robert Clarke Centre, Gillies Street North, Lake Wendouree from 3-5pm.
The panel will discuss the theme ‘Respect Women: Call It Out’- it will explore the broader issues of gender-based violence in the context of Ballarat, and how local community members and organisations can take action.

Kerbside Transition Plan - Help guide future decision-making and planning on kerbside services as part of the City of Ballarat’s Draft Kerbside Transition Plan.
The draft plan will take into consideration the range of services you would like to see, while also considering the frequency, convenience and cost effectiveness of kerbside collections.
Please visit mysay.ballarat.vic.gov.au to fill out the survey online. A hard copy of the survey is also available at the City of Ballarat Customer Service Centre in the Phoenix Building, 25 Armstrong St South, Ballarat Central. This can either be returned to the service centre or posted to:

NOTICE OF BOATING ACTIVITY EXCLUSION ZONE
Marine Safety Act 2010
Section 208(2)
City of Ballarat as the declared waterway manager for Lake Wendouree hereby gives notice under section 208(2) of the Marine Safety Act 2010 (Vic) that all persons and vessels not registered to take part in the Rowing Victoria Lake Wendouree Regattas 2022-2023 are prohibited from entering and remaining in the following waters.
Waters of Lake Wendouree – Entire Lake.
The exclusion zone will be in effect from 7am–6pm for the dates and events specified in Table 1 below.
