Public Notices - Friday 14 March 2025

PET REGISTRATIONS DUE SOON
Pet registration can assist City of Ballarat staff in re-uniting you with your pet if they are picked up or get out unexpectedly. It also assists with data collection and how to increase responsible pet ownership throughout our community.
You can register or renew your animal registration on our eServices platform or visit our Customer Service centre. Lifetime tags are supplied with registration and should be placed on your pet's collar. If the tag is lost, contact us to organise a replacement.
All pets must be microchipped to be registered. Animal registrations must be renewed by 10 April 2025.
ELECTRIC HOMES PROGRAM IS HERE

HEALTH & WELLBEING WITH THE WESTERN BULLDOGS
Do you want to learn more about your health, get active with exercise professionals, make new mates and connect with your community? Then Sons of the West is for you!
This free 10-week health program is facilitated by the Western Bulldogs Community Foundation in partnership with the City of Ballarat.
The aim of the program is to empower men to make their health and wellbeing a priority by giving them the tools and knowledge.
There will be two separate Ballarat courses available, taking place weekly in both Wendouree and Sebastopol.
The Wendouree program will begin on Tuesday 18 March and the Sebastopol course will begin on Wednesday 19 March.
Visit westernbulldogs.com.au/foundation/programs for more information.
SPEED LIMIT CHANGES – GREENHALGHS ROAD
Reduced speed limits will soon be implemented along Greenhalghs Road.
The speed limit in the residential area of Winter Valley will be reduced to 60km/h. The speed limit of 100km/h from the residential area through to Sago Road, in Bunkers Hill, will be reduced to 80km/h.
With increased traffic movement in the area, Greenhalghs Road has been the site of several accidents in recent years. The speed reductions are designed to improve road safety.
The new 80km/h speed zone is consistent with other connecting roads in the area, such as Finchs Road, Sago Hill Road and Bells Road, which are now all 80km/h speed zones.
The City of Ballarat received authorisation from the Department of Transport and Planning to introduce the new reduced speed limits.
