VICTORIA PARK INCLUSIVE PLAY SPACE
Will be closed from 5pm Monday 16 October to 9am Thursday 19 October 2023. This closure is necessary to carry out routine landscaping and maintenance.
BALLARAT BOTANICAL GARDENS CONSERVATORY
The Robert Clark Conservatory will be temporarily closed on 16 October 2023 until early December for routine maintenance and upgrades.
The Botanical Gardens and external displays remain open during this time.
Once works are complete, the Conservatory will reopen complete with the new Summer display of Hydrangeas, Fuchsias and Pelargoniums.
DETOX YOUR HOME
‘Detox your Home’ will be held on Saturday 21 October from 9am to 2pm at the City of Ballarat’s Operations and Environment depot car park at 2 Trewin Street, Wendouree.
Residents are encouraged to register for this free event at sustainability.vic.gov.au/detoxyourhome. Detox your Home is a drive-through and contactless event.
Detox your Home accepts items such as; aerosol cans, ammonia-based cleaners, brake fluid, car care products and waxes, cooking oil, cosmetics, nail polish and remover, detergents, bleach, drain cleaner, fertiliser, glues, solvents, herbicides, weed killers and many more.

BIKETOBER
Biketober has wheeled into Ballarat – a fun, free and friendly biking challenge for the entire community to take part in throughout the month of October.
You’ll earn points for each day and kilometre you ride, as well as every person you encourage. Those points will turn into entries into the prize draws!
