BRIDGE MALL REDEVELOPMENT UPDATE
Works continue to progress as part of the Bridge Mall redevelopment with further paving, benches, bins and the play space being installed in the coming weeks.
We have opened up paved areas to shoppers and pedestrians early to provide better access to shops and businesses in the mall.
Pavers continue to be installed and are designed to feature a textured and natural stone finish.
There are final works still to take place to these pavers, including:
-
Removal of rough edges and high points
-
Final grouting and works to improve surface levels, and
-
A final clean and application of water-based sealers will be applied.
The final paving will comply with Australian Standards, including accessibility standards, and the design specifications.
Planting will commence shortly and we look forward to spring when the garden beds will bloom into life and leaves will return to the trees - providing colour and greenery in the mall. Please support local businesses and #ShopTheBridge.
