NOTICE OF ROADWORKS FOR LEARMONTH STREET

Traffic flow and safety improvements are being made to the Learmonth Street and Cuthberts Road intersection and Learmonth Street and Sturt Street intersection.

Works are now underway with speed and lane diversions in place in both directions between Sturt and Cuthbert Streets.

An additional full road closure for Learmonth Street will take place in early October for asphalting works, weather permitting. Motorists, particularly heavy vehicles, are encouraged to seek alternate routes where possible. The works are expected to be completed in November.

This project is being funded by the State Government and delivered by the City of Ballarat.

BRIDGE MALL REDEVELOPMENT ROADWORKS

The City of Ballarat is installing bluestone kerb in Grenville Street as part of works to create the new entrance into the Bridge Mall.

While the works are taking place, Grenville Street is temporarily closed from Sturt Street to Curtis Street.

The works are due to be completed in November. Traffic management and detours are in place.

Local businesses are open. Please continue to support all Bridge Mall, Curtis Street and surrounding Sturt Street businesses.

 

ROADWORKS FOR CATTLE STATION ROAD

The City of Ballarat is reconstructing a bridge on Cattle Station Hill Road at Ascot. Works include earthworks, drainage, road pavement construction, asphalt road surfacing, as well as the installation of signage and guardrail.

The works are expected to be completed in November, weather permitting. Traffic management is in place, with traffic being detoured via the Ballarat-Maryborough Road.
