White Night returns to our city this weekend and will transform the streets and venues of Ballarat on Saturday evening (1 June 2024) through illuminations, projections, music, and interactive works.

The night commences at 6pm and will conclude at 12am for the following morning, for those night owls.

The event is free to attend with no registration required – just show up and have fun.

Activations will be throughout the CBD, spanning up and down Sturt Street, starting from Dawson Street.

It will also be across Doveton Street North, Armstrong Street North, Lydiard Street North and Camp Street. Mair Street, Alfred Deakin Place and Civic Hall will also be home to activations.

White Night Ballarat will feature almost 40 projections, more than 100 artists and performers, many of them from Ballarat and surrounds, as well as a delicious selection of food to be discovered across the city, family friendly entertainment and activities.

There will be three stages around the CBD showcasing many local artists playing a wide range of music.

White Night Ballarat is an alcohol-free event, however many of the local restaurants and bars will be open for business.

I’d encourage our community to embrace this wonderful opportunity and invite your family and friends from near and far to Ballarat for a weekend not to be missed.
