Mayor’s Message - Friday 15 December 2023

With January just around the corner, we have officially announced the Summer Sunday's live music line-up, for Ballarat to enjoy all next month at the Botanical Gardens.
Each year, Summer Sundays provides a wonderful platform for local musicians to gain experience on a big stage, performing to large crowds and this year is no different.
Every Sunday in January the City of Ballarat provides a live music experience for free in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens, where four different acts take to the stage between 4pm-8pm.
And don’t forget the traditional spectacular fireworks display will cap off the 14 January show at 9.30pm over at Lake Wendouree.
We’ve also made a real effort to diversify the on-stage talent and we think we’ve landed on something special this year.
This year there is an expanded array of food offerings, with about 10 different food trucks every evening to save you cooking!
Picnics are of course welcome too, and we encourage you to come along with chairs, and a picnic blanket and your family and friends to settle in for a great evening.
There really is no better way to spend a summer night in Ballarat.
