Have Your Say on our Draft Community Engagement Policy
The City of Ballarat wants your feedback on our draft community engagement policy.
The draft policy will guide the City of Ballarat’s approach to engaging with residents and other stakeholders and help to make sure your voice is heard when decisions are made.
City of Ballarat Mayor Cr Daniel Moloney said the draft policy highlights Council’s commitment to improving the way we engage with the community.
“Better engagement leads to well-informed decisions at a strategic and operational level, supports effective and transparent governance, and is fundamental to achieving good outcomes for our whole community,” Cr Moloney said.
“The draft policy is aimed at making sure the voices of our community are heard loud and clear. whether we’re making decisions on strategy, delivering services or building infrastructure.”
“Now is your chance to have your say on this key policy and help shape the way we engage with you in the years ahead.”

Feedback can be provided by completing a short survey, or by providing a written submission.
Copies of the draft policy and the survey will be available at City of Ballarat Customer Service Centre, The Phoenix, 25 Armstrong Street South, and our library branches at Sebastopol, Wendouree and Ballarat Central.
The draft community engagement policy will be available for feedback until 13 January 2021.
