Discover grants with the City of Ballarat's Grant Finder powered by Grant Guru

Community groups and businesses across the municipality will now be able to easily find and apply for grants with the City of Ballarat’s Grant Finder powered by Grant Guru.

The City of Ballarat has partnered with one-stop-shop for business, government, and community grants, Grant Guru.

You can simply use the search engine to find available grants and filter grants by specifying location, industry, and type of project.

The portal also assists with advice and top tips for finding and applying for grants to maximise your chances of receiving the funding you need.

This grant database will also provide the community with free access to a range of government and other relevant grants and funding opportunities.

The Grant Guru database has been tailored for the City of Ballarat with a focus on funding for regional areas and Commonwealth/Federal programs – that's about 1,400 programs with $50 billion grants available.

It also showcases City of Ballarat grants, including our Community Impact Grants, Tourism Event Grant Program and Strategic Partnership Grants.

City of Ballarat Deputy Mayor Cr Amy Johnson said this free service would aid business and community groups in a particularly uncertain time.

“People can have a wide range of grant information at their fingertips,” Cr Johnson said.

“This will greatly benefit businesses and community groups, especially given the challenges many are currently facing.”

However, the best way to access the City of Ballarat’s newly adopted $1 million grant package to support small businesses and community groups affected by COVID-19 lockdowns is at ballarat.vic.gov.au/supportpackage – this funding is not currently accessible through Grant Finder.

The City of Ballarat Grant Finder portal powered by Grant Guru can be found at ballarat.grantguru.com.au
